David Singleton

United Arab Emirates

Freelance Consultant

In 1992 David found himself consulting on a BPR project helping a client to restructure their business for efficiency. They quickly realized that their core issue was the lack of a comprehensive ERP system. Six months later they moved the entire process to Navision 3.04 and he changed his role from Business Process Engineer to Navision Consultant.

26 years later having at one stage worn every hat in the Navision arsenal, David continue showing businesses how to use Navision effectively to get the most out of their investment and thus the most out of their business. Although BPR is still his core, the emphasis now is on performance optimization, disaster recovery and training a new generation of BC Developers and Consultants.

The future for developers and consultants
LEVEL: 300 - Advanced
Room 5

The days of “The Beauty Of Simplicity” are over. Our new world is not about surviving, it is about thriving. Business Central brings us more new opportunities than we ever had in the old Navision world.

We will take a look into our crystal ball and see where today’s developers need to change to thrive in the Brave New World. Covering the core of the new technologies with a very broad brush, we will give you an insight into the skills you must have to survive, and the skills that will set you apart from the crowd to build your successful future.

For the dinosaurs, we will discuss the catch up and how to leverage your experience. For the new blood, we will offer suggestions to help you to decide where to fit in the new Business Central EcoSphere. The focus will be the future, not lamenting the past. This is a time to plant seeds to grow.
