Microsoft Development Center Copenhagen — Denmark

Lars Hammer holds a Master of Science degree from the Technical University of Denmark (1991) and has dedicated his entire professional career to Model-Centric ERP technology.
Starting out as a developer in Navision (then PC&C) in 1992, he became guilty of the GUI of Navision Financials – now known as the Classic UI of Dynamics NAV (and the inventor of the MatrixBox control).
He has acted both as an individual contributor and a people manager throughout the years involved in and driving product development as well as incubation efforts focusing on improving modeling capabilities.
His pet topic is turning design patterns into tangible, reusable software artefacts, he will go on endlessly about modeling and meta-modeling, especially in the context of his recent DevBase prototyping, and he will not shy away from telling you, if he thinks your code sucks.
Lars is a happy husband and a proud father of four lovely kids, his current position is Architect on Dynamics NAV, and if you catch him in the right mood, he’ll do a handstand for you.
