Senior Program Manager, Dynamics NAV

Christian Abeln works in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV group as a Senior Program Manager, currently focusing on the client side of NAV 2009. Until his graduation 1994 as a Master in Electrical Engineering at the University Karlsruhe (KIT) he worked self-employed as consultant with the early releases of Microsoft Windows. Then after 11 years as an architect, PM, and project lead at a German CRM company he joined Microsoft 2005 to work on MBF and later in the NAV group.

One of Christian’s missions is to increase the business opportunities for partners, for example with ability to extend the NAV system with custom components. He delivers sample and tools at presentations, workshops, hands-on labs and on Blogs.

In various innovation projects focusing on business data visualization he has created a valuable stack of IP which he is gradually moving into the Dynamics NAV product.
